Buttercup Pet Products Joins the International Rabbit Day 2026 Giveaway 🐰
Here at Buttercup Pet Products, rabbits have always been a huge part of our story.
Our own pets helped inspire the products we make today, so when we had the opportunity to get involved in a campaign supporting rabbit rescues and welfare organisations across the UK, we were more than happy to say yes.
For International Rabbit Day 2026, we're proud to be supporting WireFence's International Rabbit Day Giveaway alongside other businesses in the small-pet community.
Supporting UK rabbit rescues this International Rabbit Day
Rabbit rescues across the country do an incredible amount of work every day.
From taking in abandoned and unwanted rabbits to providing food, suitable housing, veterinary treatment and finding them loving new homes, there's a huge amount that goes on behind the scenes.
International Rabbit Day gives us a chance not only to celebrate the rabbits we love, but also to recognise the people and organisations working tirelessly to improve rabbit welfare.
That's exactly why we wanted Buttercup to be involved.
What can the winning rabbit rescue receive?
WireFence has put together a fantastic prize package for one UK rabbit rescue or welfare organisation.
The prize includes:

A 10 lb box of Timothy Hay from Small Pet Select

A rabbit water bottle, Buttercup water bottle holder and Buttercup hay rack from us
We'll be contributing some of our own Made in Britain rabbit accessories, designed and manufactured here in Sheffield.
Our guinea pig and rabbit water bottle holders were designed to replace awkward traditional wire bottle holders and make everyday water changes much quicker and easier.
We'll also be contributing one of our latest guinea pig and rabbit hay racks, designed to provide a simple dedicated place for fresh hay within an enclosure.

The competition is being organised by WireFence, with participating organisations competing to receive the full prize package.

We're really pleased to play a small part in this year's International Rabbit Day campaign.
Buttercup might be best known for creating colourful accessories for guinea pigs and rabbits, but ultimately everything we do comes back to making life with small pets that little bit easier.
We're looking forward to seeing the organisations taking part and, most importantly, helping shine a little more light on the brilliant work rabbit rescues are doing throughout the UK.
